Inkwell’s “Blonde on Blonde” is an aromatic and textural single vineyard white wine made from Viognier grapes grown in our McLaren Vale vineyard. Fermented using wild yeast, 90% of the blend was fermented in neutral French oak hogsheads and a small portion of the fruit was fermented on skins until dry. Aged for six months in barrel. Grown in sandy soil over ironstone and Pirramimma Sandstone. No additions or corrections made prior to ageing. Minimum effective SO2 added.

Tasting note: Fresh, aromatic and textural style of Viognier. Picked on the emergence of ginger and almond flavors in the grapes. An ideal accompaniment for mild to spicy meals and warm summer nights. Contains naturally occurring very fine sediment (the end of the bottle might become cloudy, but it does not have texture on the mouthfeel”).
